Malone Tornadoes has gained global recognition for its efforts to make Mixed Ability Rugby more inclusive. Their achievements include a 3rd place finish at IMART 2022 and hosting the MARIS’ (Mixed Ability Rugby Invitational Squad) first Irish game in May 2023, welcoming players from seven countries, including Belgium, Spain, and Canada. The event highlighted the Tornadoes’ commitment to inclusion, fostering lifelong friendships and memories.

The Tornadoes have also strengthened ties internationally, participating in Belgium’s Hasselt RFC Beach Rugby Competition and building connections with other inclusive rugby clubs.

Looking ahead, their 2024 schedule includes tours to Winchester RFC and Alcobendas RFC in Madrid, alongside their Mini Rugby squad, as well as ongoing fixtures within Ulster and beyond.
